About Us - Who We Are

Neil J Harner // Owner & Project Manager
neilNeil is addicted to everything related to the Internet and business. That’s basically how the last 10 years of his life have gone and what makes him the perfect leader for Inverse Paradox. Due to his rampant need for change and learning, developing a creative agency just seemed to fit. Prior to the launch of Inverse Paradox, Neil worked in internet marketing and the pharmaceutical software industries. He has a BS in Web Design and Multimedia from Westwood College and an MBA in Project Management from American InterContinental University. Neil is also the Founder of Philly Beer Scene Magazine, which is a local craft beer publication and project of Inverse Paradox. On the rare occurrence he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Lindsay, his son Cael, or with his beer-geek buddies drinking craft beer. He currently resides down the street from the office.

Melissa Levenduski // Owner & Designer
melissaGrowing up in the middle-of-nowhere town known as New Egypt, New Jersey would make anyone want to catch the next bus to the nearest big city. After graduating high school with a whopping class of 92 students, Melissa headed to the City of Brotherly Love. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and top of her class from Philadelphia University with a BS in Graphic Design Communication and a minor in Digital Design. Using her five years of extensive professional experience in both design for the internet and print, she has become the lead graphic and web designer for Inverse Paradox, as well as the creative director for Bucks & Montgomery Living magazine as well as Inverse Paradox’s side project, Philly Beer Scene Magazine. When she isn’t in the office or out on the field, Melissa spends her time officiating local lacrosse and field hockey games at the middle school and grad school level, hanging out with friends, family and her fiancée, Matt.

Amanda Mitchell // Web Designer
amandaJust what the company needed, another Jersey Girl. Just like Melissa, Amanda found herself stuck and bored. Living in the small South Jersey town of Millville, web design and development caught her interest at a young age and soon became a passionate hobby. Finally getting out of New Jersey and moving to Philadelphia, she went on to study architecture at Drexel University. She quickly realized that architecture wasn’t what she really wanted to do with her life and decided to make her passion her new direction of study and career choice. As a result, Amanda graduated with a BS in Digital Media and a minor in Architecture. Because her once hobby is now an 8 hour a day job, she finds herself spending a majority of her free time just trying to figure out what to do with herself. She now resides in Yardley, PA.

Brandi Kerekes // Graphic Designer
brandiAlthough born in Philadelphia, Brandi grew up in Central New Jersey. Her blood being tainted by the culture and lifestyle of Philadelphia, she returned in 2004 to become a student at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. With her passion for art and design, she graduated with a B.S. degree in Graphic Design. Brandi is now the graphic designer for Inverse Paradox, Bucks Living Magazine and Philly Beer Scene Magazine. Brandi’s greatest strengths are her unique artistic abilities including illustration, photography, painting, creative writing, and, as Neil says, “really odd YouTube videos.” Brandi also enjoys hiking, drinking craft beer, and going on random adventures.

Pete Schuster // Web Designer
peteBringing the majority of good looks to group, Pete Schuster, as a web designer, is the newest member of the team. With a degree in Film/Video and Philosophy from Penn State University, Pete enjoys all sorts of media from web, film, print, and photography. Along with his web design skills, Pete is the Director of Photography of Philly Beer Scene, a magazine the company also publishes. When not at work, Pete enjoys homebrewing, cycling, and creating opensource hardware and electronics.

Alicia Eichelman // Communications Editor
aliciaThe only non Jersey girl of the bunch, Alicia is originally from Lancaster, PA. Always being a city girl at heart, she decided to enroll at Temple University in Philadelphia and is anticipating a 2010 graduation date with a BA in Communications. She currently works on web content, editing, and administrative duties at Inverse, along with keeping the office up to date on the daily celebrity gossip, and being the subscriptions manager and editorial assistant of Philly Beer Scene Magazine. In her free time she enjoys going to Phillies games, concerts, traveling, trying new beers (with the advice of Neil), hanging out with her friends, family, dog, and of course her Inverse Paradox family! Alicia also has a rare form of extreme banana phobia. She currently resides in Center City.
