Spiced Rum Apple Cider

Serving Size: 8 people


1/2 gallon of apple cider

3 cups of spiced rum

8 cloves

4 cinnamon sticks

2 teaspoons anise seed

1/2 cup of orange juice


1. Toast the cloves, cinnamon sticks and anise in a pot over medium heat for about 2 minutes.

2. Pour in the apple cider and orange juice.

3. Bring the pot to a simmer.

4. Turn off the heat once the liquid starts to simmer, and let cool off.

5. Once cool, strain, then stir in the spiced rum.

6. Serve warm or cold.
