The Mid-Atlantic Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (MATAAC) is an organization that offers grant opportunities to manufacturing firms in the Mid-Atlantic region who have suffered recent losses as a result of import trade. Depending on the firm’s size and needs, the funds offered by MATAAC can be used to cover 50% or more of the costs for projects that improve the firm’s global competitiveness, which can include website services.
Inverse Paradox is now a partner of MATAAC, meaning that if you apply and are approved for assistance through MATAAC, Inverse can fulfill your website & comprehensive digital strategy needs.

If you are a manufacturer who has suffered recent losses in employment or net sales due to import trade, you may be eligible for a MATAAC grant. Applications to MATAAC are free to submit.
To apply, you must submit documentation to show that an increase in imports has contributed to a decline in average employment and net sales for your business within the most recent 6 to 12 month period compared to the preceding 12, 24, or 36 month period. After approval of application, the Adjustment Plan process begins, during which MATAAC will assess your firm and the industry to determine your needs and develop a plan for how a grant may be best put to use. MATAAC operates on a cost-sharing model, meaning that your company will match a percentage (up to 50%) of the assistance provided by MATAAC depending on your need.
