"It was then I learned that design is more than the way something looks. It is about how it works and how the user interacts with it, whether it be visually, digitally, or physically."

I have always been fascinated by the structure of a design, whether it be graphic or industrial design. My architecture and visual communication classes from high school taught me the importance of having a high level of precision with my work. It was then I learned that design is more than the way something looks. It is about how it works and how the user interacts with it, whether it be visually, digitally, or physically. This transitioned into my love and appreciation for Swiss Graphic Design. I have come to value the practice of using a grid and precise typographic control to organize elements in a meaningful way.

Born and raised in The Hudson Valley in New York, I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BFA in Graphic Design. It was there I learned my most valued lesson: “Not everything is design. But design is about everything.” – Michael Bierut. In other words, become an expert in the content. I quickly began my career in Manhattan, but after getting a taste of the big city, I decided I wanted to be somewhere completely new. Particularly a place that has an influx of Philly Cheesesteaks. After a long search, I landed a job here at Inverse Paradox. It is just the perfect creative team-based atmosphere I’ve been looking for.

Outside of the office, you can find me collecting and reading Batman comics, playing guitar in a Dave Matthews cover band, listening to vinyl records, occasional gaming and working out in the pool, or on my bike.
