I was most interested in learning more about front-end development, because I loved the idea of putting all of the pieces of a site together to create something functional and interesting.
My love for computers began when I was twelve years old. In a little room in South Philadelphia, my uncle and I built my first computer from scratch. It had a trackball for a mouse, a floppy disk drive, and Windows 98 loaded on it, but it was mine and I loved it. There was something very Frankenstein-esque about being able to give life to a completely inanimate object.
I kept that same custom-built desktop (with a couple of modifications) with me throughout my college years at West Chester University. I was first introduced to coding as a Computer Science and Web Design minor. Since college, I’ve held various roles in technical support, social media management, and customer service. Along the way I’ve learned that my love of tech is superseded only by my love for helping people. Being a project manager at Inverse Paradox effectively allows me to collaborate with designers and developers to create great websites, as well as interacting with various clients and supporting them in reaching their goals.
When I’m not helping the IP team save the world from bad design, I can be found at home spending time with my soon-to-be wife, Melyni, and our beagle, out and about with friends, listening to podcasts, or rooting for the Cowboys, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers.
